Boyle and District Angling Club will hold a meeting on Wednesday 18th Nov 09 at 9:30pm in Clarkes.

The club will hold its Annual Christmas Dinner on Friday 11th Dec 09 in Clarkes. Anyone interested in attending please call Jane on 086 8301261 as we need to know numbers. The presentation of the Anglers of the Year League will take take place at the christmas dinner.

The AGM of the Boyle and District Angling Club will take place on Wednesday the 9th Dec 09 at 9 pm in Tawnytascal school. For further details contact Jane on 086 8301261.

Finally the club will hold its Annual Charity Competition on Sunday 3rd 2010, on Lough Key further information will follow.

Hi folks,

Last weekend we held the Micheal Conroy Perpetual Memorial Cup. The day was a great success with 23 fish caught and 30 fished.

The result was

1st Shane o Dowd

2nd Jane Suffin

3rd Eamon Conroy

Thanks to all that fished and thanks to Dennis Dodd for a great evening and Brian and Judy for the entertainment.

Hi folks,

On sunday the 11th of october we held the Paddy Kelly Perpetual Cup at Lough Gara. The results were as follows,

1st Peter Noone 24lbs 15oz

2nd Jane Suffin 10lbs 2oz

3rd Eamon Conroy 7lbs 5oz.

The club would like to thank all who attented the competition and the presentation a great day was had by all. Special thanks to Dave in the Hydeaway for the lovely food and a great evening.

The Michael Conroy Perpetual Memorial Cup

Hi Folks.
On the 18th of october 2009 the Boyle and District Angling club are holding The Michael Conroy Perpetual Memorial Cup on Lough Skeen, Ballyfarnon.
Fishing from 11 am to 5 pm. Entries will be taken at the shore from 10 am, with entry fee €15.
The presentation will take place in Dodds Crecsent bar Boyle at 9 pm.

Dont forget the Paddy Kelly Perpetual Mermorial Cup this sunday 11th of october on Lough Gara starting at 11am. Further details below on this blog.
