On Sunday Feburary 7th we fished for the Boyle and District Angling Club Perpetual Shield on Callow Lake.
A total of 18 anglers took part in very cold and harsh weather conditions.
The winner with a pike weighing 8lbs 15oz was Jim Clarke, and the runner up was Myles Quinn with a pike weighing 7lbs 10oz.
Well done to all the anglers who braved the elements on this the first outing of 2010 and we look forward to more favourable conditions for future competitions.
