Lough Melagh
The Club fished Melagh last Sunday & for a casual day out we all had good fun. The conditions were windy & hence a lot of wind burned faces by the end.
The best fish of the day went to Declan Conroy & i think its the first time a winning pike was caught on the fly rod. 3 or 4 of the total were got on the pike fly & judging by the fun had each member will be bring the fly rod next time. roll on the Martin Mitchell Perpetual Memorial Cup next month.
I will be updating the fixture list in the next few days for the September & October fixtures.
