11am - 5pm

Presentation will take place in Glancy's Knockvicar that night.

A good turnout for the Glancy Cup.

The weather was very hot & hence fishing was tough. That still didn't stop Jim Clark from landing 8 pike to 25pd, but he failed by just a few ounces in keeping his hold on the cup. Tom Commons is the winner & also stays top of the leader-board for the fisherman of the year.

Thanks to all the staff in Glancy's for a very enjoyable nights entertainment & food.

Our next outing will be on the 8th of September for the  Martin Mitchell Memorial Cup.
This will be fished on Lough Key 11am to 5pm.

Saturday 28th July Fishing Lough Gara.

Casual days fishing next Saturday 28th July starting at 12pm.
Entry €10 & all entrys paid out as 1st or 2nd prizes depending on numbers.


Joe Mulrennan with a fine 19pd 1oz fish caught today on Lough Gara.
A great days fishing was had by all, with a huge boat catch by Tom Commons & Joe Tormey of 30 pike +.
How they got time for the tea break i don't know.

The death has occurred of Iris Anne ROLSTON, (née Reid) of Kinard, Enniscrone, Sligo

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina on Tuesday from 6pm until removal at 8pm to Kilglass Church of Ireland, arriving at 8.30pm. Funeral Service on Wednesday at 3pm. Burial afterwards in the church grounds cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Croí.
